UPDATE ON INDIANA CHECK-UP PLAN Many of you are requesting an update regarding chiropractic coverage under the Indiana Check-up plan sometimes referred to as the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP). I will summarize what ISCA knows to date. After ISCA’s advocacy efforts, the proposed rule was amended to indicate that even though chiropractic services are a non-covered service, services covered under HIP that are within the scope of a chiropractor’s scope of practice, i.e. physical therapy services, may be covered. I will repeat the exact quote from FSSA below. In addition, I will include the list of covered services, prior authorization details, and provider enrollment instructions.
